My earliest memories are of summers spent working on my father's construction sites. That experience stayed with me throughout my childhood, teenage years, and into college, laying the foundation for a lifelong career in construction and insurance.

 

After earning an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice, I joined my father in the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew, assisting with insurance adjusting. It was there I discovered a passion for helping people recover after catastrophic losses. I quickly realized that while technical expertise is essential, empathy, clear communication, and trusted leadership are what truly help people confidently navigate the claims process. Soon afterward, I began working full-time as an insurance adjuster, advancing through a variety of roles, including Regional Claims Manager, adjuster trainer, appraiser, and large-loss commercial claims specialist.

In the late 1990s, I returned to my family's business and became Vice President of Robert's Construction, Inc. In this role, I managed both residential and commercial construction projects, working closely with architects, engineers, owners, and project managers. During this time, we also continued to provide claim services for multiple insurance carriers and independent adjusting firms. My father and I frequently worked catastrophe events together, utilizing our construction expertise, performing damage assessment, handling coverage analysis, estimates, and reporting.

Following Hurricane Katrina, we adjusted more than 150 commercial claims, including losses exceeding $25 million. These experiences provided invaluable insight into both the construction and insurance industries and reinforced my commitment to serving policyholders and carriers during times of crisis.

My father passed away November of 2025.  Our final catastrophe assignment together was Hurricane Irma. The lessons, memories, and experiences we shared continue to shape me both personally and professionally.

 

In 2018, I joined Provencher & Company, LLC's Major Claims Unit as an Executive General Adjuster. There, I handled large-loss commercial claims, including multiple losses exceeding $10 million. In addition to adjusting responsibilities, I oversaw the daily operations of a Third-Party Administrator's claims program, managing adjuster assignments, coordinating inspections, and providing complex coverage analysis. I also played a key role in expanding Provencher's appraisal division, helping establish it as a leading provider of expert analysis, appraisal services, and reporting.

In 2022, I founded Kenneth Jones & Associates. Drawing upon more than three decades of experience in both the insurance and construction industries, we have assembled a network of highly qualified professionals and strategic partners.  Our mission is to combine technical excellence with thoughtful care, providing the expertise, resources, and innovative solutions needed to navigate today's increasingly complex claims environment.
